01Getting there from downtown
As the crow flies, River Rock sits about 150 m from the Canada Line's Bridgeport Station. That figure is calculated from TransLink station coordinates. The walking route will be a little longer, and it may be wetter.
River Rock says it is 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver and 5 minutes from the airport on the Canada Line. Those are the venue's own figures. For current train times, check TransLink. The SkyTrain and bus page covers the general routes.

02Hours, and what is not published
River Rock does not publish overall casino hours. It does publish these:
| Area | Hours |
|---|---|
| Live tables and poker | Monday to Thursday, 10AM to 4AM |
| Live tables and poker, weekends | Non-stop from Friday 10AM to Monday 4AM |
| Racebook | Opens 9AM every day; closes late, once the last race is done |
Downtown, Parq Casino lists itself as open 24 hours a day. River Rock makes no such statement, and this guide does not fill the gap with a guess. For slot floor hours, check the venue directly.
03The floor
- Over 1,100 slots
- More than 80 live table games
- 108 electronic table game terminals (Stadium Gaming)
- A 10-table poker room, phone 604-247-8983
- Off-track betting on horse races at a racebook
There is no live racing at River Rock. The racebook takes wagers on races run elsewhere. River Rock uses Encore Rewards.
04Hotel, theatre and food
River Rock has a hotel with nearly 400 rooms. A Sky Bridge joins the Hotel Tower to the Casino Tower. The pool comes with a water slide. Check-in is limited to guests 19 or older.
The Show Theatre seats 1,000 people. The venue publishes its own event listings.
Places to eat on site include MIKU, KOI, Sea Harbour, Zio's and Gordon Ramsay Steak. Hours and menus are on the official River Rock site.
05Parking
Self-parking is entered from River Road on the west side. Valet is off River Road, and over-height vehicles use the East Parkade.
The only parking prices River Rock publishes are $33 per night for overnight valet and $25 per night for over-height self-parking. Self-parking for casino visitors has no published rate. If you are driving, ask the venue first.
06Ownership and history
River Rock opened on June 25, 2004. Since June 16, 2026, the owner has been a partnership of two parties. One is Petroglyph Development Group, of the Snuneymuxw First Nation; the other is Musqueam Capital Corp, of the Musqueam Indian Band. The partnership bought it from Great Canadian Entertainment.
07Entry, ID and support
Gambling in BC is 19+. Every visitor must show original government-issued photo ID at the door. Photos or copies are not accepted. Security scans the ID against the list of people barred from gambling facilities, including Game Break enrollees.
Buy-ins or payouts adding up to $3,000 in one day trigger an identity check. Within 24 hours, $10,000 or more in cash buy-ins calls for a source-of-funds declaration.
Every BC casino has a GameSense Info Centre on or near the floor. Gambling Support BC answers 24/7, free of charge, at 1-888-795-6111. See the support page for more.
