01Parq Casino: two lines, two walks
Parq Casino is at 39 Smithe Street, beside BC Place. Parq's own parking and transport page gives two SkyTrain options:
- Stadium–Chinatown Station on the Expo Line, 850 m away.
- Yaletown–Roundhouse Station on the Canada Line, 800 m away.
The two walks are about the same length, so pick the station on the line you already ride. Several bus routes also pass near the complex. Check route numbers in TransLink's schedules before you go, since the published lists do not agree.
Parq says rideshare and taxis are available outside the casino. That helps when the walk back to the station is the least appealing part of the evening. On nights with events at BC Place or Rogers Arena, read the game day downtown page first.
02Hastings Casino: along East Hastings Street
Hastings Casino is at 188 N. Renfrew Street in Hastings Park. The venue lists its address as PNE Gate 6. Live racing ended in December 2025. The casino and the simulcast racebook continue.
The nearest SkyTrain station is Renfrew Station on the Millennium Line, a short walk from the park. TransLink does not publish a walking distance for it in the sources available to this guide.
Buses run along East Hastings Street, with a stop near Renfrew Street. Bus is the obvious choice if you are coming along Hastings from downtown or from the east. Route numbers and stop details come from third-party schedule data. Confirm them with TransLink on the day.
Late at night, TransLink's NightBus N35 (Downtown/SFU) runs along Hastings Street. It is the one to know if you leave after regular service winds down.

04Getting home late
Last SkyTrain times from Stadium–Chinatown, Yaletown–Roundhouse and Renfrew are not confirmed here. Check them before you settle in, not after.
TransLink's NightBus runs seven nights a week, with buses every 20 to 30 minutes. From about 1:30 a.m., all NightBus routes leave from either Howe & Dunsmuir or Seymour & Granville. TransLink points to the NightBus District at West Georgia & Granville as a central, well-lit place to wait.
From Parq, that means getting yourself into the downtown core. This guide could not confirm the walking distance. From Hastings Park, the N35 is the direct option. The late night page covers this in more detail.
Hastings Casino's opening hours vary between sources. Check the Great Canadian page or call 604-254-1631 before planning a late return.
05Rainy nights
The sources available here say nothing about covered walkways from either station. Assume you will be outside for the full distance and bring an umbrella. A jacket that tolerates sideways rain on the walk from Stadium–Chinatown is not a bad idea either.
A few other things to pack:
- Government-issued photo ID. Every visitor to a BC casino has to show it at the door, and it must be the original, not a photo of it. Entry is 19+.
- A way home. Know your last train or your NightBus stop before you go in.
- A budget you set at home. Both casinos have a GameSense Info Centre on or near the floor. Support lists free help, including Gambling Support BC at 1-888-795-6111, open 24/7.
