01The basics

The address of Cascades Casino Langley is 20393 Fraser Highway, Langley. The phone number is 604-530-2211. Gateway Casinos & Entertainment operates it, and it opened in 2005.

It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. That is the one schedule question this page can answer without a caveat.

At 39.0 km in a straight line from downtown Vancouver, it is the farthest casino on this guide's list. The road distance is longer, since only crows get to travel in straight lines. For the other casinos around the region, see Metro casinos.

02Getting there: the last leg is a bus

Next door is the Langley Centre bus exchange, roughly 130 to 190 m from the casino measured in a straight line. It is a short walk, and in the rain it is a short wet walk.

Langley does not have SkyTrain yet. The Expo Line's Surrey Langley extension will terminate at Langley City Centre station, 203 St and Industrial Ave, with service expected in late 2029. Until then, any transit trip from Vancouver finishes on a bus. Routes and timings change, so plan the trip with TransLink's trip planner rather than relying on a guide.

The casino never closes, but SkyTrain does not run all night. If you expect a late finish, read Late night and check the return trip before setting out.

03On the floor

  • Slots: more than 1,000, plus the Crystal Room for higher-stakes slots.
  • Live tables: 28. Games include blackjack variants, baccarat, roulette, Four Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Mississippi Stud and others.
  • Poker: a room of 6 tables, open from 9AM every day. 1/3 No Limit is on all seven days; 5/5 No Limit is kept to Friday and Saturday. To reach the poker desk, dial 604-539-4456.
  • Bingo: paper and electronic, Thursday to Sunday. Session times come from the bingo line, 604-539-4445.

The poker room's closing time is not published. There is also no show theatre now. The 420-seat Summit Theatre closed in early 2018, and its space is now a bingo hall.

04Hotel, parking, food

The Coast Langley City hotel shares the address and stands next door, convention centre included. The convention centre is 26,000 sq ft.

The hotel lists free parking for anyone staying there or attending the convention centre. The casino publishes no parking statement of its own, so visitors who come only for the casino should not assume the same terms apply.

For food, there is a Sunday brunch buffet, Glacier Bar, and MATCH Eatery & Public House. Hours and prices are posted on the official site. The casino uses Encore Rewards.

05At the door

Entry is for adults 19 and older, and valid government-issued photo ID is required. Since June 26, 2023, BC casinos have asked every visitor, of any age, for ID on arrival. Security scans the card and checks it against everyone barred from gambling facilities, including anyone enrolled in Game Break. Bring the original card, because photos and copies are not accepted.

Unauthorized photography and filming are not permitted inside.

As at every casino in BC, a GameSense Info Centre sits on the gaming floor or close by, and GameSense Advisors work on site. For a conversation away from the casino, Gambling Support BC takes calls 24/7 at no cost on 1-888-795-6111. There is more on the Support page.
