01Where it is and when it is open
Grand Villa stands at 4331 Dominion St in Burnaby, BC V5G 1C7. The phone number is 604-436-2211. Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited operates the casino.
The venue lists itself as open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Parq Casino downtown is also listed as open around the clock, so Grand Villa is the other 24-hour room close to the city. If the plan changes at 2 a.m., one of the two is still open.
The official site is burnaby.grandvillacasino.ca. Check it for anything this page does not cover.
02What is on the floor
- Live table games: 67
- Slots: over 1,300
- Poker room: open 24 hours daily
The venue's own pages give two different numbers of poker tables, so this guide does not give a count. If the size of the room matters to you, call before you go.
03Getting there
By car. Parking is complimentary. A parkade runs to the front door, with outdoor lots as well. Downtown parking at Parq is paid and charged by licence plate, so this is a real difference.
Shuttle. The casino's free shuttle service is temporarily unavailable. Do not plan around it until the venue says it is running again.
By transit. The venue publishes no SkyTrain or bus directions, and this guide will not guess. Enter the address in TransLink's trip planner on translink.ca and let it choose the route for the time you are travelling. Our page on getting around by SkyTrain and bus covers the general picture. If you are coming home late, read Late night before you need it. Bring a jacket either way. This is still the Lower Mainland.
04Hotel, food and rewards
Marriott's Delta Hotels Burnaby Conference Centre shares the property. The restaurants include Personas Patio + Restaurant + Lounge. The venue publishes their hours and menus.
Encore Rewards, the BCLC program, works here the same way it does at Parq. Membership is free. Bring valid ID to Guest Services to join.
The venue says it is accessible. Wheelchairs, accessible formats and communication supports are available on request.
05Entry and ID
You must be 19 or older. Since June 26, 2023, anyone entering a casino in BC has had to show original, government-issued photo ID on arrival. Photos and copies are not accepted. A passport, a driver's licence, a BCID or a BC Services Card all count.
Security scans each card and compares it with the barred list for gambling facilities, which covers anyone enrolled in Game Break. For anyone admitted, BCLC says no personal information is kept.
A room that never closes makes it easy to lose track of time. Like every BC casino, Grand Villa has a GameSense Info Centre. Gambling Support BC costs nothing and picks up 24/7 at 1-888-795-6111. More options are on our Support page.
