01Where it is and what has changed
The address is 17755 60 Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 1V3. In a straight line, that puts it 34.1 km from downtown Vancouver. It opened in November 2005. The phone number is 604-576-9141.
Two things have changed. The City of Surrey called time on the track lease, and live harness racing next door at Fraser Downs finished on August 15, 2025. The track has since been demolished.
Great Canadian Entertainment still operates the casino. SE-MI-AH-MU Development Corporation, which belongs to the Semiahmoo First Nation, agreed on March 9, 2026 to buy it. The deal still needs approval from the City of Surrey and from regulators, and as of October 2026 it had not closed.
02Hours
Unlike Parq downtown, Elements does not run around the clock every day.
| Area | Days | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Casino | Monday to Thursday | 10AM to 4AM |
| Casino | Friday to Sunday | 24 hours |
| Live tables | Sunday to Thursday | 10AM to 1AM |
| Live tables | Friday and Saturday | 10AM to 3AM |
The live tables close well before the slots do, so a 2AM blackjack plan works only on Friday and Saturday. Holiday hours are not published. Check Great Canadian's Elements page before a long ride.
03The floor
The venue lists over 500 slots and electronic tables. There are 10 live table games: blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Four Card Poker, baccarat and roulette.
The Action Arena has electronic roulette, baccarat and Ultimate Texas Hold'em. There is no poker room. For poker, look at the other venues on the Metro casinos page.
The loyalty program is Encore Rewards, the same BCLC program used across the province.
04Food and evenings
The buffet restaurant goes all-you-can-eat on weekends. Foodies is on site too. Elements Bar keeps to Friday and Saturday nights. The casino runs comedy and live music weekly. Its event spaces are called The Dragon Lounge and The Homestretch.
Menus, prices and show line-ups are published by the venue, not here.
05Getting there from downtown
The casino publishes no parking information, and we have not verified transit directions. Rather than guess at a station or a bus, use the trip planner on translink.ca with the street address. Allow for the distance. Thirty-odd kilometres in the rain feels longer than it reads.
Getting back late is the harder half. The casino stays open well past the point where getting home is simple. See Late night for how NightBus works before you count on it.
06Entry and ID
Entry is 19+. Every visitor shows government-issued photo ID at the door, as at every BC casino since June 26, 2023. Only original physical documents count, not photos or copies. Staff scan the ID against the Game Break and restricted lists, and the casino says it is not kept.
Buy-ins or payouts reaching $3,000 or more in a single day mean identity verification under provincial rules.
07If it stops being fun
Every BC casino has a GameSense Info Centre with advisors on site. Game Break, BCLC's self-exclusion program, runs for 6 months to 3 years. Gambling Support BC is free, and its line at 1-888-795-6111 picks up 24/7.
