The straight-line figure is the generous one. Roads and buses do not travel in straight lines, wet or dry. The venue's own details are on the official Cascades Casino Delta site.

02Not a 24-hour casino

This is the main thing to know if you are used to Parq Casino downtown, which runs around the clock. Cascades Casino Delta keeps set hours.

  • Casino: Sunday to Thursday 11AM to midnight; Friday and Saturday 11AM to 2AM.

Live tables keep shorter hours and open in the afternoon:

  • Sunday: 2PM to midnight
  • Monday to Thursday: 4PM to midnight
  • Friday: 4PM to 2AM
  • Saturday: 2PM to 2AM

A weekday lunchtime visit means no live tables. A 1AM Tuesday is a Parq question, not a Delta one.

03Planning a late night

On weeknights everything closes at midnight. On Friday and Saturday it closes at 2AM, and the tables close with it. Work out the trip home before you leave downtown, not after the doors shut. The late-night page covers what runs after midnight and where it leaves from.

04The floor

More than 500 slots share the floor with 18 live table games, plus electronic table games. There is no poker room. If poker is the point of the evening, the Metro casinos overview shows which venues have one.

05Food, drink and a hotel

A Marriott property, Delta Hotels Vancouver Delta, shares the site with MATCH Eatery & Public House, Summit Bar and The Buffet. The venue publishes outlet hours and prices; check them before you go rather than assuming they match the casino's hours.

The casino uses Encore Rewards, BCLC's program. It is free, and sign-up is at Guest Services with valid ID.

06Getting there

Cascades Casino Delta publishes driving directions only. It publishes no parking details, so this guide gives none.

For transit, use TransLink's trip planner at translink.ca with the address above. The venue names no station or route, and this guide will not guess one for it.

07At the door

Entry is 19+. Every visitor, whatever their age, has had to show original government-issued photo ID at BC casinos since June 26, 2023. Photos and copies are not accepted. Security scans the ID against the list of people barred from gambling facilities, including Game Break enrollees. Anyone who is let in, BCLC states, has no personal information kept on file.

Smoking and vaping are banned indoors under provincial law.

08If it stops being fun

Every BC casino has a GameSense Info Centre on or near the floor, staffed by GameSense Advisors. Gambling Support BC is free and picks up 24/7 at 1-888-795-6111. More options are on the support page.
